Chapter House Photos

Welcome to the University of Washington's Sorority Houses!

Explore each link to take a virtual tour of some of our beautiful sorority houses on campus. Whether you're just curious, or considering joining a sorority, this gallery is intended to show the unique beauty and character that you can find in our community's sorority houses.

For any questions about the houses, or living in a sorority house, contact us at uwpanhellenic@gmail.com. Welcome home!

Not all our Panhellenic sororities have chapter facilities and instead have the opportunity to be a part of a sisterhood without the commitment of living together.  These sorority women live on campus, may commute, or live in the University District or other parts of Seattle in houses or apartments.  Many of them will still choose to live together with other members of their organization.

Curious of what is included in a sorority house at the UW. Some of the great benefits you will enjoy include:

A+ Amenities:

UW sorority houses are the epitome of comfort and convenience. We've got spacious common areas where you can hang out with your sisters and guests, study rooms equipped for productivity, fully furnished spaces to accommodate multiple sleeping arrangements, and great perks like laundry facilities in house and fast internet. Living here means you have everything you need right at your fingertips.

Budget-Friendly:

UW sorority houses offer an affordable living option. We believe in giving you the best experience without the hefty price tag. Dues are inclusive of your room, board and meals as well as membership dues that cover sorority activities and all of this is generally less expensive than living in on campus residence halls or off campus.

Safety First:

Safety of residents is our top priority. That's why UW sorority houses are equipped with security focused features. We have keypads, key fobs, and security systems to keep you and your belongings safe and sound. Plus, our premises are well-lit with safety lighting to ensure a secure environment for everyone.

A Support System:

College has its fair share of ups and downs, but when you're in a UW Sorority House, you have a support system like no other. Whether you need advice, a shoulder to lean on, or just someone to listen, your sisters will always have your back.

No Cooking Required:

In UW sorority houses, we've got an amazing food service led by talented chefs. No need for cooking, instead a of variety meals prepared exclusively for you and any specific food allergies or restrictions you may have. A 24-hour selection of breakfast and snack options is also available with snacks available all-day.

Full-Time House Director:

Need someone to keep things running smoothly? UW Sorority Houses have a professional full-time house director, many who live in the chapter facility. They'll answer member questions, handle any concerns, and provide guidance whenever needed in relation to the facility. They also oversee food, cleaning services, and any maintenance issues. Consider them your go-to person for all things house-related.

Smaller Community:

Let's face it, having a community is a big part of college life.

Within your sorority there are many opportunities to make meaningful friendships through sisterhood activities like Mariner’s activities, bouquet making, to big/little and academic mentorship with upper class members.

Within the community your chapter interacts with other sororities and fraternities on campus through planned activities like chapter exchanges, Grab-A-Dates, formals, and Panhellenic mixers as well participation in each other’s philanthropy events.
