PANHELLENIC LEADERSHIP COMMITTEE
PANHELLENIC LEADERSHIP COUNCIL
WHAT IS THE PANHELLENIC LEADERSHIP COUNCIL?
Panhellenic Leadership Council (PLC) consists of two delegates from each Panhellenic Chapter at the University of Washington. This organization is an opportunity for members to meet women in other chapters, represent the voices of their new member class, foster leadership development skills, and learn about how to get further involved in either Panhellenic or the University of Washington as a whole. It is also an amazing community of strong women and leaders that want to be change makers in our community.
WHY THE PANHELLENIC LEADERSHIP COUNCIL?
Panhellenic Leadership Council gives new members an opportunity to create lasting relationships outside of their chapter, develop leadership skills and make a positive impact on their community. Each quarter, PLC plans a sisterhood and two philanthropy events. Our past sisterhoods have included bowling, pumpkin painting and blanket making. Our philanthropy events over the course of this past year, which have included blanket making and Sugar & Spoon fundraisers in Red Square, have benefitted Mary’s Place, a shelter for homeless women and children. In addition to making a positive impact on our community these sisterhoods and philanthropy events have given delegates the opportunity to form friendships that will last long after their time as a member.
