Kappa Delta

Sigma Iota chapter

Kappa Delta Sorority was founded in 1897 on the values of friendship, academic excellence and commitment to social and civic interests. As sisters in Kappa Delta, we focus on building lifelong friendships and inspiring confidence in women and girls around the world in partnership with the Girl Scouts of the USA. UW Kappa Delta also works with Seattle Children's Hospital to raise funds for the prevention of child abuse, providing funding for the Period of PURPLE Crying Program which works to educate new parents to lower rates of Shaken Baby Syndrome. Joining the Kappa Delta sisterhood provides opportunities not only for philanthropic engagement but a lifetime of meaningful, empowering relationships.
