Leadership

As a Sorority woman at the University of Washington, there is a wide range of leadership opportunities available. The Greek Community offers the ideal place for members to gain leadership experience and to develop their skills in areas that fit their unique interests and abilities. As value based organizations, leadership is an integral part of our role both on campus and in the community.

Within each chapter, women can serve as officers, committee representatives, and hold a variety of other executive and non-executive positions in areas such as philanthropy, academics, sisterhood, and service. Each chapter is self-governing, allowing the leaders to play an essential part in their specific Sororities. In addition to leadership opportunities within individual chapters, Sorority women have the opportunity to actively participate in the Panhellenic Association, and it is common for Sorority members to hold student leadership positions on campus.

The Greek Community thrives and improves because of the dedicated and passionate leaders that flourish here. The University of Washington community is a better place due to their efforts.
