Community Service
Collectively, the sororities at the University of Washington have participated in the ninth annual American Cancer Society Relay For Life, and held numerous blood, clothing, and food drives this past year. In addition, they do quarterly street cleans to maintain the area through the local Adopt-A-Street organization. This year sorority members also participated in the second annual All Greek Service Week that benefited organizations such as the Boys and Girls Clubs of King County and Teen Feed, a local organization that provides help for homeless teens.
These projects, along with countless others, provide sorority women with the opportunity to grow as civic-minded individuals and to contribute to worthwhile causes. The women of the University of Washington Panhellenic Association are continuously looking for ways to be more involved with the community, and to give back in any way they can.
