Academics

Each sorority woman at the University of Washington shares one common goal, to learn and develop through higher education. Sororities promote academic excellence through study groups, incentive study programs, scholarships, and career networks.

For many years, the overall Panhellenic grade point average has been higher than the All University and the All Women's Average at the University of Washington. Greek women continue to pursue a wide range of academic disciplines, utilizing support systems within their chapters to excel. Panhellenic continues to offer resources to Greek women through networking events, scholarships for new and active chapter members, and recognition of outstanding academic performance. Over the years, the Panhellenic Association has received numerous regional awards for outstanding academic achievement.
