About Panhellenic
Each woman who joins a sorority becomes a member of the Panhellenic Association. The word Panhellenic is derived from the Greek root, "pan," meaning "all," and "Hellenic," meaning "Greek." The association brings sorority members together to work toward common goals for the benefit of the community. A council made up of a representative from each sorority meets bi-monthly to develop policies and discuss community issues.
An executive board composed of ten officers and an advisor represents the Panhellenic Association. Their responsibilities include planning all-Greek service events, hosting roundtable discussions and speakers on important campus issues, developing leadership skills, educating members about policies and procedures, and overseeing the membership recruitment process. The Panhellenic Executive Board officers play an integral role in functionality of the Greek community, and they are available year round to answer your questions.
